The Santarelli Foundation devotes special attention to humanitarian works and support for children. In 2016, to support the population of Amatrice severely affected by two earthquakes, the volume Amatrice. Storia, arte e cultura (History, art and culture) edited by A. Viscogliosi, whose studies had been ongoing for about two years. In the same year, a monumental plastic model (6x4 m) of the ancient village, updated to the early 20th century, was made, which will serve as a basis for study for the reconstruction of the town and which was set up inside a pavilion of the Amatrice Municipality.
In 2019, the volume Amatrice con gli occhi di prima, edited by F. di Napoli Rampolla, was published, consolidating a fruitful collaboration with the MIC; followed in 2022 by the volume Amatrice. Studi e ricerche per la ricostruzione della città storica (Studies and research for the reconstruction of the historic city), also edited by Alessandro Viscogliosi, which included years of research on the Latium village from an urbanistic point of view and was accompanied by innovative pre- and post-earthquake 3D and oculus representations. In 2025, the Santarelli Foundation facilitated an agreement under the Art Bonus scheme between Intesa Sanpaolo, the Ministry of Culture and the Municipality of Amatrice for the reconstruction of the Church of San Francesco in Amatrice.
